A VENUE for a drop-in meeting to discuss the issue of anti-social behaviour in Canford Heath has been confirmed.

Police officers, local councillors and MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole, Michael Tomlinson, will all be present at the meeting to speak to concerned residents.

As reported previously in the Daily Echo, a spate of anti-social behaviour by a gang of youths has been affecting Canford Heath over the last couple of months.

Just last week, vandals smashed two windows and damaged a boiler at the Limelights youth centre, forcing the charity to close a week earlier than planned before it resumes activities in September.

Residents have also been reporting incidents of intimidation, assault and theft, particularly in Adastral Square.

The meeting takes place at Canford Heath Community Centre on Monday, September 3, from 2-3pm.
