The duck race raises funds for the Wimborne in Bloom campaign.
WIMBORNE will host the 19th annual duck race in aid of the town's In Bloom campaign.
The event will be held on Saturday August 25 at 4pm on the River Allen.
The plastic ducks will be launched into the river at the bottom of Mill Lane, beside the Riverside Mews Cafe.
They will cross the finishing line beside the garden at the back of the Rising Sun in East Street.
Tickets are £1 each will be sold outside both the Co-Operative Store and the Waitrose Store on Saturday August 18, Thursday 23, Friday 24 and again on race day itself.
The winner of the first duck home will receive £50, second place £25, third £10 and fourth, fifth and sixth £5 each.
The proceeds will be in aid of Wimborne in Bloom Funds.
