THE air ambulance was called to West Howe on Saturday night following a report a man had suffered burns.
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance received the report just before 9pm.
The man was airlifted to Salisbury District Hospital.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing the air ambulance land in Poole Lane opposite Nutley Way.
