BOURNEMOUTH skipper Chris Park insisted the pressure was on Sarisbury Athletic ahead of the sides’ potential Southern League Division One title decider.

Lions hold a 26-point advantage over their promotion rivals ahead of Saturday's pivotal battle at the Hollow (12.30pm).

A commanding victory could see the Chapel Gate outfit secure top spot but wicketkeeper-batsman Park is eager for his charges to keep their cool.

He told the Daily Echo: “The pressure is maybe a little bit on Sarisbury. They have to play aggressive cricket and take us on a little bit, which could be a good thing.

“As long as we don’t embarrass ourselves and get no points it’s okay because we have two other games after, which we are in control of. We have played good cricket all year and dominated in most games. As long as we stay relaxed, play smart, clever cricket, then I will be happy.”

Bournemouth’s Simon Woodruff and Martin Miller are both unavailable, meaning Tom West comes back in to open the batting.

Jamie Price is set to slot into the middle order on his first-team debut.

In the Premier division, bottom two New Milton and Lymington lock horns at Fernhill, while Bashley host Burridge.
