POLICE were called to a concern for welfare in the grounds of a hotel near Royal Bournemouth Hospital on Tuesday night.
Officers were called at 9.22pm following concern for a woman on the grounds of The Village Hotel off Castle Lane East in Bournemouth.
Ambulance and the fire service also attended the incident and assisted officers in resolving the situation.
A woman aged in her 20s was taken to hospital to receive the appropriate care.
Visitors to the hotel said they were prevented from leaving the premises by officers while they dealt with the incident.
One man said the woman was up a tree.
