TRAVELLERS remained at Bournemouth's King's Park yesterday, more than a week after moving onto the site.
Bournemouth Borough Council has obtained a possession order from the courts in relation to the unauthorised encampment, of around a dozen caravans and associated vehicles, and bailiffs have been instructed.
Meanwhile, the travellers that arrived at Boscombe Overstrand car park before the weekend were evicted on Monday.
Also, the unauthorised encampment at Sandbanks car park, Poole, which was established last week has gone.
Yesterday morning Borough of Poole (BOP) confirmed the unauthorised encampment had dispersed.
However, a BOP spokesman added: "There is an unauthorised encampment on BOP land at Whitecliff car park comprising of two motorhomes and associated vehicles.
"The site will continue to be monitored as part of the legal process for the removal of the travellers."
