THE public is invited to comment on proposed plans to improve Branksome Chine promenade in Poole today.
Improvement works at Branksome Chine are expected to cost around £180,000, as part of Borough of Poole’s (BOP) £6.6 million seafront regeneration scheme.
Proposed improvements at Branksome Chine include landscaping and soft planting to create a public plaza area. Specially commissioned artwork is also proposed for the area.
Members of the public are invited to come along and talk to the design team, who will be at Branksome Chine today from 2-7pm.
BOP cabinet member for culture and leisure, Cllr John Challinor, said: “This engagement is an opportunity for anyone to show an interest in the plans we have for Branksome Chine promenade.
“We want comments and suggestions from the public, and these could help shape the improvements here.”
The plans will be available at Sandbanks Beach Office, August 16 - September 12.
