JAMES NORMAN ALLEN, aged 24 and of Kinson Grove, Bournemouth, admits assaulting a person by beating her in Bournemouth on dates between December 21 2017 and February 1. Community order made. The defendant must comply with a rehabilitation activity requirement for a maximum of 20 days and carry out 120 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. Also admits repeatedly or continuously engaging in behaviour which was controlling or coercive on dates between December 1 2017 and April 26. Restraining order made until August 2020. JAMES MARC PHILPOTTS, aged 22 and of no fixed abode, admits being a relevant offender within the terms of the Sexual Offences Act and failing to comply with the notification requirements by failing to notify police of a new address on two occasions. Committed to prison for 18 weeks. Reason: record of previous similar offences, breaches of similar orders. No suspended due to failure to comply with previous suspended sentence orders. To pay a £115 surcharge.

JEROME SEWELL, aged 23 and of no fixed abode, admits wilfully obstructing a PC in the execution of his duty at Bournemouth police station on November 1 2017. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. To pay a £20 surcharge, to pay £40 costs.

RACHEL JENVEY, aged 37 and of Northcote Road, Bournemouth, admits failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made for failing to provide a specimen, driving while disqualified and driving a Nissan Micra knowing the vehicle had been taken without the owner's consent by failing to report as directed on two occasions. Community order revoked. To pay £60 costs. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Reason: failing to provide a specimen was a high level of impairment and deliberate refusal; disregard of court orders shortly after imposition.

IAN LODER, aged 61 and of Twyford Close, Bournemouth, admits being a trader on dates between March 31 2017 and April 29 2017 and engaging in a commercial practice which was a misleading action in that it contained false information in relation to the advertising of a 2009 Volkswagen T5 Transporter on eBay. Fined £250, to pay £3,500 compensation, to pay a £30 surcharge, to pay £1,000 costs. Also admits engaging in a commercial practice which, by omission, was misleading in that its factual context omitted material information, namely by failing to disclose the true mileage travelled by the vehicle. Fined £250.

RICHARD NEVILLE BROWN, aged 44 and of Lombard Avenue, Bournemouth, convicted in absence of failing to give information relating to the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence after January 17. Fined £660, to pay a £66 surcharge, to pay £675 costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.

ROY DAVID LACKEN, aged 61 and of Wallisdown Road, Bournemouth, admits exceeding a 40 mile per hour speed limit in contravention of a local traffic order by driving a BMW at 55mph in Ringwood Road, West Howe on November 16 2017. Fined £150, to pay a £30 surcharge, to pay £125 costs. Driving record endorsed with three points.
