THERE were queues back to the M27 after a crash on the A31 at Ringwood on Thursday.
One lane of the westbound carriageway was blocked following the multi-vehicle crash at the turn-off for the A338 Fordingbridge.
It affected traffic between Picket Post and Ringwood.
Hampshire travel news account Romanse said there were 115 minute delays on the road.
Fire crews have released one man who was trapped in a vehicle and made the scene safe.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said there are not thought to have been any serious injuries.
He said: "We were called at 3.47pm to reports of a collision on the A31 westbound just prior to the Ringwood turn-off.
A Ford Transit, Nissan Juke, Land Rover Discovery and Vauxhall Zafira were involved."
A breakdown on the opposite side of the road also caused delays.
