COURT time is booked as part of the ongoing process to evict travellers from Bournemouth's Kings Park.

Around half a dozen caravans and motorhomes moved onto the park last week.

Neighbours and visitors have reported vehicles being driven over the park's green spaces at speed.

Officers from Bournemouth Borough Council are set to apply for an eviction order on Thursday.

Also, travellers moved onto Sandbanks car park, Banks Road, on Monday evening.

Travellers vehicles had briefly parked up at Poole's B&Q, Fleetsbridge, and Whitecliff Park, Poole, earlier that day.

Meanwhile, the unauthorised encampment at Poole's Ravine Road, which was reported earlier this week has now moved on.

A Borough of Poole (BOP) spokesman told the Daily Echo: "The travellers have moved on at Ravine Road.

"A clean-up has taken place and arrangements have been made to have the toilet removed.

"There is an unauthorised encampment on BOP land, comprising six caravans and associated vehicles, at Sandbanks car park.

"The site will continue to be monitored as part of the legal process for the removal of the travellers."
