A SECOND man has been charged in connection with a reported stabbing in Boscombe.

Dorset Police received a report at 10.30pm on Friday, July 27, that a man had been found with stab wounds in Christchurch Road, near to the junction with Gloucester Road.

The man reported he had been attacked by two men who were known to him in a nearby alleyway, which leads to Corpus Christi Church. His injuries were not life threatening and he has since left hospital.

A 31-year-old Bournemouth man appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 30, charged with wounding with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

He is next due to appear before Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday, August 30.

A second man, aged 27 and of Bournemouth, has also now been arrested and charged with wounding with intent.

He is due to appear before Poole Magistrates’ Court today.
