TRAVELLERS have pitched up at two sites in Poole. Poole council says there is an unauthorised encampment of two motorhomes, six caravans and tents at Turlin Moor recreation ground car park.

Meanwhile, residents have reported travellers in Ravine Road, Canford Cliffs, near The Cliff pub.

One motorhome, one caravan and a trailer tent are at the site.

Toilets have been provided to "minimise the environmental impact" at both sites, and legal action is being taken to remove the travellers.

Police moved on a traveller encampment at Upton recreation ground this week after around 20 people arrived at the site on Sunday evening.
