A NEW indoor adventure golf attraction is set to open in Bournemouth’s Bh2 Leisure complex in September.

Mr Mulligans. will feature three indoor adventure golf courses, a large restaurant specialising in fresh pizzas and a bar spread across two tiers which will be open until midnight.

Mr Mulligans. has a number of adventure venues across the country and each one fits into one of four different themes; lost world, space golf, dino golf and pirate golf.

Branches can be found in Cheltenham, Stevenage, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Sidcup, Tonbridge, Castleford, Nottingham and Woking.

Bournemouth’s branch of Mr Mulligans. will take on a space theme with three "intergalactic" courses and will be situated opposite Miller & Carter Steakhouse.

One of the courses will feature an "apocalyptic crash scene" and the price for adults will be £8 and a family pass is expected to cost £25 for four people.

According to the Mr Mulligans. website, visitors will be able to enjoy cocktails and the venue will also be used for children's parties and corporate events.

The Bournemouth branch has already started taking bookings for Christmas.

It will create between 10 and 15 full time jobs and around 30 part time vacancies for weekends and evenings.

Craig Murray, marketing manager for Adventure Leisure Limited, said: "With 10 venues already open in the UK, the Mr Mulligans brand will be expanding to 25 units in the next 3 years.

"Having a variety of indoor and outdoor venues across small towns and larger cities, the business is looking to entertain large university towns and cities across the UK with their unique product."

Mr Murray said the Mr Mulligans. brand will be expanding into 25 units in the next three years.

Earlier this month, Bournemouth council unveiled plans to open an 18-hole adventure golf course at the former Imax site near Pier Approach.

Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf is set to open next summer and construction is due to begin this winter.

It will include a fully functioning waterfall, which will cascade in the centre of the attraction.

The council-funded project is expected to make £205,000 a year but it is not known how much it will cost to build.

As previously reported in the Daily Echo, a new VR gaming centre will open inside Bh2 Leisure next month.

It will be one of two virtual reality attractions set to open in Bournemouth by businessman Colin Parnell with another planned for Richmond Gardens.

Bh2 Leisure will have six stations playing Tower Tag. Admission is expected to be around £10.
