A TEENAGE girl is one of four people seriously injured in a crash in north Dorset today.

The 16-year-old was a passenger in a green Vauxhall Astra which collided with a wall outside the Milton Farm caravan site in Milton on Stour, near Gillingham, shortly before 12noon.

No other vehicles were involved.

The driver, an 18-year-old man from Mere in Wiltshire, was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital and a rear seat female passenger, aged 21 and from Warminster in Wiltshire, was taken by air ambulance to hospital in Bristol.

The 16-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man were also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Sergeant Mark Scammell of Dorset Police said: “The next of kin of those involved have been informed and we are investigating the circumstances of this collision."

Anyone witnesses who have not yet spoken to police should contact the force via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101 quoting 28:211.

"I would also ask anyone who was in the area at the relevant time and who has dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check their footage," Sgt Scammell said.
