I LEFT this letter on the police website. I don't think the police should have the right to fly around neighbourhoods and awaken the whole population...
It is 04.00 am on the 25 July 2018 and we have had a helicopter flying low and making a noise in the Keverstone Court area of the Eastcliff, Bournemouth, for at least the last hour.
They may as well have had their sirens blaring as they have been keeping my wife and I and probably others awake with their continuous hovering.
I have tried to call 01202 303766 and 999 and both have been of no help in curtailing this idiocy. This is not the first time this has happened but it usually is earlier in the night at 23.00 - 24.00. There have to be times where flights of this nature should be reduced to a minimum time and a minimum height to reduce the noise.
It is outrageous that the police feel they have the right to awaken whole neighbourhoods in this way. If they do have the need for this kind of support then other forms of flying should be used like balloons or blimps.
