A MOTORCYCLIST has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in North Dorset.
The crash at Spread Eagle Hill on Wednesday involved a car and a motorbike.
It was reported to police at 3.17pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said the road was closed at Melbury Abbas and at the Blandford side.
The road was also closed on the C13 at Sunrise Business Park.
An air ambulance arrived on the scene at 4.24pm.
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said a male patient was taken to Southampton General hospital by air ambulance with a fractured leg for further treatment.
