A MAN has been arrested after a man was left in critical condition following a late-night attack in Wimborne at the weekend.
The incident happened outside the Premier Store in Gordon Road close to the junction with Barnes Crescent in the Leigh Park area at around 1.20am on Saturday.
The 27-year-old victim had been walking home from the pub with his girlfriend when he was attacked.
He was left with a fractured skull and two bleeds on the brain.

Yesterday Dorset Police said a 21-year-old local man had been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm and has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
