ALMOST 700 riders packed out Poole Quay for the latest Poole Dream Machines Bike Night event.
This regular Tuesday night meeting, organised by the Poole & Bournemouth Tourism Office, includes a regular 'Bike of the Night' contest.
Steve Trawley, from Chandler's Ford, Hampshire, won the title with his Kawasaki H2.
He said: "Kawasaki's are in my blood.
"I owned a Z1 in 1975, then a GT750 and a ZZ R1100. When I saw this one I had to own it."
Judge for the night, Jorge Henley from Quayside Emporium, said: "I chose the bike because of its power and the mental strength it takes to ride such a beast."
Poole Dream Machines, billed as the largest weekly motorcycle meeting in the south, takes place from April to September.
An event spokesman explained: "Poole Quay and the harbour offer the perfect location to show off a superb range of motorbikes, where bikers and spectators enjoy a unique relaxed atmosphere.
"And with a great selection of waterside cafes, bars, restaurants and food kiosks to enjoy during the event, it is the perfect place to relax and have a bite to eat."
