A MAN has come forward after police issued a CCTV appeal following a robbery in Bournemouth town centre.
At around 2am on Friday, May 25, the victim, a local man in his 30s, was in Old Christchurch Road near The Camel Bar when he was approached by two men.
The men threatened the victim with violence and demanded that he withdrew money from a cashpoint and hand it to them. At least £30 was taken.
The victim was not physically injured.
An 18-year-old man from Bournemouth made contact with Dorset Police following their CCTV appeal and is assisting officers with their investigation.
No arrests have been made.
