A WINNING £1million Lotto ticket bought in Bournemouth remains unclaimed, National Lottery bosses have revealed.

Players in Bournemouth are being urged to check their tickets from the Lotto draw on Saturday, June 30.

Every week Lotto Millionaire Raffle guarantees to create two millionaires, but the lucky Bournemouth player is yet to claim their prize.

The winning code was GREY 3321 1513, and the ticket-holder, whoever he or she may be, has until December 27 to claim their money.

National Lottery senior winners advisor Andy Carter said: “We are eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings.

“This amazing prize really could make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

“We are urging everyone who bought a lotto ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa - someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.

“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers are crossed that the lucky winner comes forwards to claim their win.”

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

Anyone not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing to Camelot, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.

According to Camelot, Bournemouth has produced 50 residents who have become National Lottery millionaires since the draw was established in 1994.

The lucky winners are among 5,000 people who have received seven-figure cheques in the last 24 years.

Across the UK there have been 38,000 big winners of £50,000 across all National Lottery games, with 352 of them from Bournemouth.

Among them is Jamie Kay who scooped an incredible £1 million. Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws should call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk.
