A TEENAGE boy arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire in Shaftesbury last week has been released without charge.
At around 7.20pm on Thursday, July 12, Dorset Police received a report of a large fire off Allen Road.
The fire service attended and extinguished the blaze. Extensive damage was caused to a barn and a forklift unit.
A 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of arson has since been released without charge.
While the cause of the fire is still to be confirmed, officers are treating the incident as suspicious.
Detective Constable George Graham, of Weymouth CID, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into this incident and I am appealing for any witnesses to come forward.”
