SOARING temperatures brought snarl-ups on roads across the conurbation today.
A crash on the A338 Spur Road northbound at Ashley Heath interchange caused miles of traffic tailbacks.
Delays of 35 minutes were reported.
Earlier this afternoon, there were also snarl-ups on the A35 Barrack Road from Christchurch Retail Park to the Iford Roundabout.
Traffic was also heavy along Fairmile Road and Hurn Road leading up to the Blackwater junction.
Nearer Bournemouth town centre, there were queues on Bath Road between the BIC Roundabout and the Lansdowne Roundabout.
Traffic queues were also been reported on the A31 near Wimborne, Ringwood Road at Longham, and Holes Bay Road in Poole.
The beaches are busy as visitors enjoy sunny skies and highs of 27C.
