EMERGENCY services were called to Hengistbury Head after reports someone was climbing a radio mast at the old coastguard lookout station.
The male was “talked down to the roof” but then jumped to the ground “appearing to injure his back”, according to the Southbourne Coastguard Rescue Team.
The incident happened on Saturday afternoon. Police and firefighters were at the scene.
Paramedics were also called to check the casualty over and treat him for any injuries.
