Rainfall has been significantly below average, and many parts haven’t seen rain for weeks.

This weekend we will see highs of around 28C, but if it’s all been too much for you, average temperatures are expected next week and there could be some much-anticipated rain.
In 1976, some places went 45 days without rain.
