A CAR was driven at a Tesco worker after he challenged a suspected shoplifter.
The incident happened at around 2pm on Monday, July 2, at the Tesco store in Pennys Walk, Ferndown.
The member of staff followed the suspected shoplifter into the car park where he got into a vehicle being driven by another man.
It was reported that the vehicle was then driven at the worker, pushing him back around two metres and causing bruising to his legs.
The vehicle, described as a small silver hatchback, then left the scene.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
