THE A338 Spur Road was blocked following a four-vehicle crash.
Police said the crash involved three cars and a tanker.
It has occurred on the southbound carriageway near Blackwater.
Police were called at 10.52am.
Fire and ambulance were also requested.
Slight and minor injuries were reported.
Dorset Police said the tanker is non-hazardous.
Long delays were being reported as a result but have now eased.
The road was cleared at around 12.30pm.
