ELEVEN acrobat-musicians from the French circus company Circa Tsuica will arrive in Poole next week. (July 2)
They'll be preparing for their next show, set for Hamworthy Park, alongside young musicians from Wimborne's Queen Elizabeth School.
This performance, called Now of Never, will take place over three days under a big top.
The acrobat-musicians fly, fling and swing across the tent on trapezes, tightropes, Cyr wheels, trick bicycles, trampolines and see-saws. All the while, they play their brass instruments accompanied by seven musicians from Queen Elizabeth School's Jazz Orchestra.
Steve Glover, artistic director of the orchestra, said: "We are delighted to work once more with Circa Tsuica. Ten young musicians aged 13 to 16 have enjoyed their first of two workshops with French musical leader Baptiste and are busy learning the rest of the material.
"They are very excited and can’t wait to perform in the big top to a live paying audience."
The show takes place July 6, 7 and 8.
