A MAN has denied committing grievous bodily harm after a woman was allegedly stabbed at a Bournemouth hotel.
Adam Jon, 19, was charged following an incident at the Hallmark Hotel Bournemouth Carlton on the East Cliff on the afternoon of Sunday, May 20.
He appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on Thursday morning, where he denied unlawful wounding and wounding with intent.
The defendant, of Portman Road, Manchester, has also denied a charge of assault by beating, which prosecutors allege happened on May 18. All charges involve the same complainant, Salina Heera.
Police were called to the hotel at around 1.15pm on the day of the incident after a woman suffered serious injuries to her abdomen.
She was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital.
Jon, who was accompanied to the court by his family, will face a trial in October.
