TWO high-value cars were stolen after burglars broke into homes in Purbeck.
Now police are urging homeowners to keep their car keys safe after a Volkswagen Golf and an Audi S4 were taken.
The burglaries occurred overnight between Monday, June 18 and Tuesday, June 19, at properties in Wareham and Swanage.
Detective Inspector Neil Wright, of the Priority Crime Team, said: “While we have only had a small number of incidents in Dorset, we would like to remind members of the public to remain vigilant.
“Consider keeping your car keys in a safe when you are at home. For further crime prevention advice, please visit www.dorset.police.uk/burglary.
“We are carrying out detailed enquiries into each of the incidents and I would urge anyone with information to contact police.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk, or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55180094192.
