POLICE have released CCTV images of three suspects after a theft from a building business in Wimborne. The break-in happened at JM Scully in Wimborne Road at around 12.30am on Monday, May 21.

Three offenders went into storage containers and stole a number of building materials.

They also stole an Ifor Williams double wheel-based trailer, which is valued at around £6,000, and loaded the building materials onto it.

The trailer was pushed to a gate where one of the offenders appeared to enter a key code to open the gate.

Once the gate opened, the trailer was attached to a light-coloured Ford Transit van before it was driven away. The van turned left towards Cranborne.

All three suspects captured on CCTV were wearing balaclavas, hooded tops over their heads and gloves.

Police Constable Matt Brennan, of East Dorset police, said: “While I appreciate their faces are concealed, I am hoping that someone may recognise them from the clothing they are wearing and would urge anyone with information to please contact Dorset Police.

“We take thefts such as this extremely seriously, as these offences have a real impact on our business community.”
