HEALTHWATCH Dorset are on the road in the north of the county from June 4 with a week of events to discover people's views on local health and care services.

Chair of Healthwatch Dorset, Joyce Guest said: "We'll be out talking to local people about health and care services to find out what works well and what doesn't. If you live in North Dorset, please tell us what you think of GP services, care homes, dentistry, mental health, home care and your local hospitals."

Healthwatch Dorset information stands will be available throughout the week at the following locations:

Monday 4th June, 10-12 The Exchange, Old Market Hill, Sturminster Newton

Tuesday 5th June, 10-1 Westminster Memorial Hospital, Abbey Walk, Shaftesbury

Wednesday 6th June, 10-1 Blandford Community Hospital, Milldown Road, Blandford Forum and 2-4 Bute House Surgery, Wootton Grove, Sherborne

Thursday 7th June, 2-4 Parkinsons Dance Class at Sherborne Arts Link, The Manor House, Newland, Sherborne

Friday 8th June, 10-1 Waitrose, Le Neubourg Way, Gillingham.

The organisation, which offers free and independent information, helps service users find their way through the system and uses their feedback to influence the way local services are provided.

They can also be contacted during the week on social media, using the hashtag #HWDRoadshow.
