THE Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing will be at an event for start-ups – along with his business partner and the boss of a top digital agency.

Jamie Laing and his friend Ed Williams created the Candy Kittens brand of traditional sweets, which now exports to 15 countries.

They will take part in a Virgin StartUp event along with Adam Greenwood, chief executive of the award-winning, Bournemouth-based digital agency Greenwood Campbell.

Greenwood Campbell specialises in disruptive technology, digital transformation, UX website design, and works with the latest artificial intelligence (AI) technology to create voice and chatbots and to design apps and websites. It recently created the Premier League’s first Facebook Messenger-driven chatbot with AFC Bournemouth, working with the club, Microsoft and Bournemouth University.

The event, called How To Build a Knockout Brand, takes place on Thursday, June 28, 6pm-8.30pm, at THIS Workspace in the Daily Echo building.

Virgin StartUp is Richard Branson’s not-for-profit company helping entrepreneurs start new businesses and opened a regional office in Bournemouth in 2016.

Tickets cost £10 including drinks, nibbles and Candy Kittens sweets. They can be booked by searching for ‘Screw it, just do it Bournemouth! Build a knockout brand’ at Eventbrite.co.uk
