TWO schoolgirls reportedly had their hair touched by an unknown man at Poole Bus Station.
On four occasions between Monday, March 12 and Friday, March 16, the teenagers left school and were waiting at the station in Kingland Road to catch the bus home when they were approached by an elderly man.
The man is reported to have touched the girls’ hair and made comments about how nice it was.
A similar incident happened at around 2.40pm on Monday, May 28, at the bus station.
Police have released a photo of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incidents.
Police Constable Jamie Spry, of Poole police, said: “I have carried out extensive enquiries in a bid to identify this man but have not been successful.
“These incidents left the girls feeling concerned and, while it is possible the man’s intentions were entirely innocent, I am keen to speak to him directly to establish what happened.
“I would ask the man or anyone who knows him to please contact Dorset Police.”
