HISTORIC former farm buildings at Kinson are now on the market with permission to create nine ground floor apartments.

The development team at Savills, Wimborne, said: "“The stables at Kinson Manor Farm provide prospective purchasers with the opportunity to acquire a range of traditional farm buildings benefitting from full planning permission for nine one and two bed ground floor apartments and parking."

They said the single-storey listed buildings had been vacant since 2013 and been 'significantly altered' since their original construction in the 1900s.

Four years ago nearby residents expressed concern at the prospect of more than 300 homes being built on land at Manor Farm, but during the Local Plan Review in 2011 a government inspector found 'no reason to allocate it for development'.

Savills said it was inviting 'unconditional offers' for the development site.
