A MAN is continuing to fight for his life after a crash in Bournemouth last week.
The 22-year-old was behind the wheel of a silver Citroen Saxo which hit a tree in West Way on the morning of Tuesday, May 15.
He was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital, where police say he remains in a "potentially life-threatening and life-changing" condition.
Officers then issued a CCTV image of a black Vauxhall Astra which was reported to have been travelling along West Way at the time of the collision.
A 42-year-old Bournemouth man came forward and was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He has since been released under investigation.
