TWO drivers identified as being among the most dangerous on Dorset's roads were stopped and arrested last week.
The motorists, targets of Dorset Police's Operation Dragoon, were held on Thursday. The first was stopped following reports of a driver smoking cannabis behind the wheel.
A roadside drug test was carried out, which allegedly was positive for cannabis. A sample of blood was taken and sent for testing.
The driver was released under investigation.
Officers then arrested another driver while assisting Bournemouth North's neighbourhood policing team with speed checks in West Howe.
The team stopped a van being driven by another Dragoon target. Police allege the driver gave false details, but was identified via his tattoos.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "The driver was disqualified from driving, and failed a roadside drug test for cannabis and cocaine."
He was released under investigation.
