AFC BOURNEMOUTH manager Eddie Howe and musician James McVey of The Vamps have put on their pyjamas in support of Julia’s House.

The pair, who are patrons of Julia’s House, are helping to promote the charity’s PJ Day on Wednesday as part of Children’s Hospice Week.

People across Dorset are being invited to don their PJs in return for a £1 donation to support families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition.

Nurses, carers, fundraisers and children and families supported by Julia’s House will also be joining in.

Julia’s House will be sharing pictures on social media throughout the day with people encouraged to post their pyjama selfies using the hashtag #PJDay.

There will also be a live Facebook feed from a hospice session on PJ Day which will show children, nurses and carers in their best bedroom attire.

Children’s Hospice Week runs from May 21 to 27 and its aim is to raise awareness and funds for hospices like Julia’s House who rely on public donations and fundraising.

Julia’s House cares for around 150 children and supports their families across Dorset and Wiltshire.
