TWO men and a teenage girl have been charged following an alleged assault during which a man suffered stab wounds.
Officers were called at 11.17pm on Sunday to the Red Lion pub car park on High Street in Gillingham.
A 25-year-old Gillingham man sustained a stab wound to his chest during the alleged altercation between a group of people.
The victim was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
A 24-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, both of no fixed abode, have been charged with assault and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
A 17-year-old girl from Southampton has been charged with perverting the course of justice and possession of bladed article. All three are due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Three local men, aged 25, 41 and 45, who were arrested on suspicion of assault, have been released under investigation.
Three local men, aged 20, 22 and 28, who were arrested have been released from the investigation with no further action.
