A TALENTED photographer has created a stunning timelapse video collating films he gathered over an entire year.

Pete Scott of Naturehawk Photography has created a 10 minute video on YouTube showing the changing seasons of some of the most beautiful locations in Dorset.

Pete, who is originally from Manchester but now lives in Dorset, said he is happy capturing images and producing timelapse and hyperlapse videos of the county and hopes people enjoy looking what is has to offer as much as he does.

He said: "For over a year, in and around Dorset, I have been filming many time-lapse videos. I wanted to include as many of the popular landmarks that people would recognise, with a view to putting together a collection of clips from some of those videos. I did some rough mathematics and I reckon I`ve filmed for more than 70 hours - through rain and shine, day and night.

"This may be just a few clips of all of the time-lapse videos I`ve shot but it still runs to nearly 10 minutes.

"So if you are in love with our beautiful county, it`s worth 10 minutes of your day to have a look see how many places you recognise. I welcome your comments and will be interested to hear your thoughts."

He added: "Hopefully it brings a smile to people's faces. I've had quite a few messages from people who have seen my work and they've thanked me because they can't get out of the house for various reasons such as disabilities or other conditions.

"Hopefully lots more can appreciate the beauty around us."

The video, entitled 'A Year In The Life of Dorset', includes a beautiful moment of the mist rising over Corfe Castle, shooting stars, sunrises and sunsets at popular locations such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove and a lot more.

Pete, who works as a builder, also snapped a natural spectacle in November - capturing the iconic 'through the keyhole' sunrise at Durdle Door, which then went viral.
