A CCTV image of a man suspected to be involved in a stabbing in Boscombe has been released by police.
Detectives launched an investigation after a man in his 20s suffered stab wounds to his upper body in Cecil Road shortly before 8pm on Wednesday, May 2.
The injured man was rushed to Southampton General Hospital by air ambulance for treatment. His condition was initially described as potentially life-threatening but he has since been released from hospital.
Detective Sergeant Andy Haworth, of Bournemouth CID, said he can now issue an image of the suspect.
“I would urge anyone who recognises this man to please contact Dorset Police urgently," he said.
“Finally, I would ask anyone who has any information that could assist with our investigation to please contact us.”
A 25-year-old Bournemouth man who was previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder remains released under investigation.
