A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing at a property in Boscombe last week.

As reported in the Daily Echo, police were called to Windsor Road shortly before 8pm on Wednesday after a man in his 20s suffered wounds to his upper body.

He was injured in nearby Cecil Road.

The casualty was rushed to hospital by air ambulance for emergency treatment. His condition was initially described as potentially life-threatening, but he has since been released from hospital.

A 25-year-old Bournemouth man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been released under investigation as detectives continue their enquiries.

Detective Sergeant Neil Third, of Bournemouth CID, said officers are continuing to investigate. He called for anyone with information to contact police on 101 or by visiting dorset.police.uk, quoting 55180065851.
