FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a flat in Boscombe last night.
Crews based at Springbourne, Redhill and Westbourne were alerted to a fire at a property in Haviland Road, near the O2 Academy, shortly before 9pm.
The fire had broken out in a bedroom. The cause is not yet known.
A spokesperson from the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
Smoky corridors were then ventilated.
No one is believed to have been injured.
