THE body of a man missing for almost four months has been found in a Dorset river.

Andrew Latcham, 70, disappeared on Saturday, December 30.

Police say a body was discovered in the River Stour at Charlton Marshall shortly after 6.30pm on Thursday, April 19.

The body has now been identified as Mr Latcham. His family has been informed and the coroner has been notified.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "Our thoughts are with Andrew’s family at this difficult time and they are continuing to be supported by specially-trained officers."

Mr Latcham, who lived in Blandford, suffered with Alzheimer's.
