AN APPEAL has been launched after someone has thrown full dog poo bags into a Christchurch lake.

A £50 reward has been offered for help in prosecuting the person responsible for the act, which has been carried out at Lakewood in Highcliffe.

The sign advertising the cash offer says the dog warden will be making regular visits to the site, with hopes of catching the culprit.

However, if a member of the public sees the perpetrator, they will receive the reward.

Details of the reward have been placed on a board by the lake, with a contact number to call in sightings.
