Hotel legal action: The full letter sent to Bournemouth Council
Here is the full legal letter from Denton's, the legal team representing the hoteliers who have launched legal action against Bournemouth Council.
The legal action is over the council's plans to build a £70m taxpayer-funded hotel next to the BIC.
In the wake of last week's special report by the Daily Echo into the funding of the scheme, the high risks and the potential effect on the hospitality sector, two hotel groups are applying for a judicial review over the development which they say threatens the future of independent businesses.
