A LITTER pick in Bournemouth town centre which was postponed earlier this year will now take place next month.
Unseasonally poor weather forced the cancellation of the Big Bournemouth Clean Up. However, the event has now been rescheduled, and volunteers are urged to take part.
The clean up, organised by the Bournemouth Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID), aims to tidy the streets ahead of the May bank holiday.
Helpers are needed to join the town's ranger team and volunteers from the Dorset Devils between 11am and 1pm on May 2.
Participants will begin their work at Horseshoe Common before continuing into Old Christchurch Road, the Lansdowne and eventually the Triangle.
Litter picking equipment will be provided.
