A DRUG driver caught twice in just two months has been banned from the roads – again.
Lynford Miller, of Steppes in Langton Matravers, appeared before magistrates on February 27, where he admitted driving a Ford Focus in Sandford Road, Wareham on December 11 with seven micrograms of THC, the primary psychoactive ingredient of cannabis, per litre of blood.
He was fined £120 and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
On Friday, April 13, he appeared at the same court once again to admit an earlier offence of drug driving.
The 47-year-old was stopped by police in St Swithuns Road, Bournemouth, shortly after midday on October 27 2017. He had nine micrograms of THC per litre of blood.
Miller has been banned from driving for 12 months and fined a further £120. He must also pay costs and a victim surcharge.
Magistrates said he will effectively serve a 14-month ban from the date of the first conviction.
