POLICE have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to in connection with the theft of tools from an outbuilding in East Dorset.

The tools were taken from a secure building at Avon Heath Country Park at around 8.20pm on Wednesday, April 4.

The thieves gained entry via a rear wooden door and then used a grinder to cut a padlock and enter an internal metal shed before removing the tools and leaving the premises.

Police Constable Ted Carlton, of East Dorset police, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into this incident and are making efforts to establish exactly what was taken.

“We have carried out CCTV enquiries and as a result I am issuing images of two suspects in the hope that someone might recognise them.

“I am also appealing for anyone with any information that could assist with our investigation, or who has been offered petrol tools for sale in unusual circumstances, to contact police.
