COMMUNITY recycling organisation Ideas2Action has offered an environmentally-friendly way of getting rid of Christmas rubbish.
The group is asking the public to help good causes by donating items such as Christmas wrapping paper, corks, novelties/hats from crackers, 2017 calendars with animal pictures, postage stamps and ring pulls from drinks cans.
Items can be donated at Win on Waste sessions due to be held across the conurbation from Saturday January 6.
The dates are:
January 6: Broadstone library 10-11am,Wimborne library 10.30am-12noon, Hamworthy library 11am-midday and Livability Holton Lee 10.30am-midday. January 13:Canford Heath Coffee House café 10-11am and Creekmoor library 11.30am-12.30pm).
January 20: Oakdale library 10.30am-12noon.
January 25: Turlin Moor St Gabriel’s Church 9am-midday.
January 27: Parkstone library 10.30am-midday, Westbourne library 10-11am and West Howe Henry Brown Youth Centre 2-4pm.
