A MCDONALD'S restaurant disappointed customers yesterday lunchtime after being unable to provide burgers.
The fast food franchise's branch on Ringwood Road in Ferndown had to inform customers that they were only able to provide chicken due a grill failure running
Ringwood resident Neville Ord, who used the drive thru service yesterday lunchtime, had planned to order a burger from the menu.
However, he was informed by staff that they only had chicken available.
"On the drive thru they said they are not selling any meat based products," he said.
"I would have never expected it and it was a surprise.
"There are long queues in the drive through and it is very busy in the car park.
"I've had to go for nine chicken nuggets instead."
A statement from McDonald's said: "There was a failure on the grill for a short time at the Ferndown restaurant.
"It was fixed and the restaurant resumed full service."
